From La Vieille Auberge to Auberge Sullivan
The History of Auberge Sullivan
Auberge Sullivan has been an integral part of Val-d’Or’s history since 1934, the year the village of Sullivan was established and the Sullivan Mine opened. Built the same year, the inn is said to have welcomed its first guests on December 25, 1934.
Having gone by several names, including La Vieille Auberge, the property was acquired in March 2024 by the owner of Hôtel Continental in Val-d’Or. Today, Auberge Sullivan blends historical heritage with modern comfort, offering accommodations suited to both workers and visitors. It now features six one-bedroom apartments, a four-bedroom house, and a studio.
